Heya! So- Neph and I decided to get a joint account for our comic! the account is called HarvestHounds .. and we needed to create a title for our comic DX we had a good think, and since we feature a lot of science in it we researched a lot of scientific terms to do witht he particular branch we're focusing on.

And came up with "Introgression" ('Intro' for short)

Introgression, in genetics (particularly plant genetics), is the movement of a gene (gene flow) from one species into the gene pool of another by backcrossing an interspecific hybrid with one of its parents. Introgression is a long-term process; it may take many hybrid generations before the backcrossing occurs. An example of introgression is that of a transgene from a transgenic plant to a wild relative as the result of a successful hybridization leading to intentional or unintentional "genetic pollution". Another important example has been studied by Arnold & Bennett 1993: irises species from southern Louisiana.^[1]

There is evidence that the introgression is a ubiquitous phenomenon in plants, even in animals^[2][3] and perhaps it also exists among pre-human lineages (Holliday 2003^[4]).

Wow! So I took a break from Fridge for a while, because nothing was happening and I was stressed over uni. And Neph and I were just having fun making up the cyberpunk concepts for our characters, and we both really wanted to make a comic with each other... so we started on this cyberpunk idea. We rp'd a little and just generally sketched a lot using the tegaki applet and would send art to each other.

So I have a tonne of art FROM tegaki that was never posted. I'll see what I can put up  - a lot has Doc's face in it so ... >O> secret hush hush! Though I believe it could be revieled in a matter of months.. as in ... perhaps even less than two aha. <3 then i shall spam the net with his lovely face -U-

Olive is about 18 here, she works as a Go-go dancer at Regen, a popular club in the city. She used to be more colourful than when we first meet her, but I still kept kind of muted colours- not the fluros, as well as the general theme of GREEN.

Ah.. So then, soon after joining the Mafia, I was accepted into FLINTRIDGE. Tegaki's new amazing steampunk group! I thought it was so amazing and ahh how could I ever get in!? But I did! :D And ah, I met the most amazing people - and through them, even more people who just BLOW MY MIND.

I've had a really tough year with uni, my department was swallowed up by the School of Art so they decided to do a syllabus overhaul ...but have yet to give me said syllabus, and I only have little over a term to go til I'm finished. So, as you may imagine, I've been fairly frustrated over it all. sigh. Then Tomato, my laptop, decided to die D': but now I have a new, and as yet, nameless laptop. Wow, my brain has stopped working due to uni overload so I might just upload pictures now.
